How Mitchelle bakes the cake?

Mitchelle bakes the cake with the help of her team whom she taught how to bake with passion and love for what they do. They bake it upon order so that it’s fresh and uses only the finest and quality ingredients.

"We bake it the traditional way because we love the process and we don't use any preservatives. We are artisans and craftsmen. Every cake that we bake is made from scratch."

History of Michelle’s Sweet KISS.

Mitchelle Moreno’s passion and first love is baking and cake decorating. She learned the rudiments of baking when she was in second year high school, trying different recipes of cookies, bars and cakes from their ovenette at home.

Classic chocolate cake with caramel icing became the family’s favorite. The second hit was blueberry cheesecake. Every time there is a birthday the family they would ask for Mitchelle’s cake.

Christmas 1995 turned passion into profit, when she started baking cakes to fill in orders from friends and relatives. Since then, Christmas orders turned the family’s small kitchen into a busy pastry kitchen with Mitchelle baking all evening, sleeping only for a couple of hours before going to school.

In 1998, she scaled up production with the purchase of a secondhand La Germania oven. Mitchelle’s Sweet Kiss was born. In 2003, Mitchelle bought her first industrial oven and went into baking full-time.

Today, Mitchelle’s Sweet Kiss supplies leading bistros, cafes, fine dining restaurants and corporate events. Its cakes and pastries continue to be the highlight of many special occasions and celebrations.

In Makati City, the home of Mitchelle’s Sweet Kiss is the Good Spirits Café and Deli at The Collective on Malugay Street. Good Spirits is a deli where chocoholics and their non-chocoholic friends can enjoy their desserts with coffee or wine. The deli is also rapidly gaining popularity among companies looking for non-conventional sites where they can host corporate events.
