Available only from February 4-11, 2011, start off the 5-course meal with Baked Oysters with wasabi cream infused with calamansi and Tuna Carpaccio – thin slices of tuna topped with mixed greens drizzled with ceviche sauce. Then take your pick of their soups: either the Roasted Pumpkin Soup topped with smoked paprika and basil froth, or the Tomato Soup served with croutons, also topped with fresh basil froth. The entrée is either the Bistek U.S. Hanging Tender Steak served with fried garlic rice and red egg ensalada, or Ensaladang Bagnet with Wakame Seaweeds – fried bagnet with red eggs, cherry tomatoes and Laguna white cheese served on a bouquet of Japanese seaweed. And for dessert, try their Ginataang Suman Crepe stuffed with mango sushi roll, or Chocnut Pastillas Panacotta – that famous Italian dessert combined with our favorite Pinoy treats: chocnut and pastillas. You can enjoy this gastronomic delight with either a glass of wine in hand or an iced tea to sip on.

Blue Onion partnered with one of the top Chefs in the Philippines to create this unique taste of Filipino-Japanese fusion. Chef Niño Laus created a menu of our very own Filipino dishes with a twist of Japanese.
