18th TRAVELTOUR EXPO SET ON FEBRUARY 2011: Go Around the World in 3 Days

The much-anticipated annual event in the Philippine travel and tourism industry, the TravelTour Expo, organized by the Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) and the Department of Tourism (DOT) together with VIA, is set on February 18-20, 2011 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.

The TravelTour Expo (TTE) was conceived by the PTAA in response to its goal of fostering unity in the travel industry and to promote the welfare of the traveling public, thus, providing a perfect venue for a grand showcase of various products, services, and extraordinary deals that visitors can enjoy. Far better than what consumers will find online or anywhere else, the expo exclusively offers special fares which can only be availed at the 3-day event, a one-stop-shop for all domestic and international travel needs (tickets, land arrangements, hotel accommodations, tours, etc.), buy one-take one packages, and much more surprises.

Now on its 18th year, the 2011 TravelTour Expo promises to be a bigger and a more exciting event. With a larger venue of 4 huge exhibit halls, exhibitors now have more booths for customers to choose from, offering a wider variety of travel options. With this year's theme "Around the World in 3 Days", the show aims to feature various hotspots in the Philippines and all over the world. Since it started in 1994, the Expo has been attracting thousands of visitors, exhibitors, and sponsors to avail of its enticing and fabulous travel deals. Last year's show brought in about 80,000 visitors, featured 416 booths with 230 participants, with the theme "Ready, Jet-set, Go!" which presented an exceptional atmosphere that stimulates the desire to travel among visitors by air, water, rail, or road for business or for recreation, within or outside the Philippines.
